The issue of fast fashion is pretty big and it's understandable that it feels like you can't do much to solve the issue. However, we can do some easy things in our daily life to reduce our own contribution to the issue and that's a great start!
Here are some easy things you can do that will go a long way:
- Buy from sustainable brands - Yes, it may be a but pricey but it won't cost more of the environment. Additionally, the garments will be of better quality so will last longer!

- Buy second hand - an obvious but good idea
- Buy less - consumerism is the root of this issue.
- Do more with old clothes instead of throwing them away - repair if possible, donate to stores or family and friends, drop them in a textile recyling bin or repurpose it.
- Wear more - focus on building a closet of timeless pieces that you'll wear often and can easily mix & match with other garments you own
